Larp Log

Terms of Service

Effective August 27, 2026

1. What Larp Log is

Larp Log is a tool for United States college students. It reconstructs your internship application history from recruiting email in a mailbox you connect, and shows anonymized, aggregated recruiting movement from other participating applicants for internships you have applied to.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 13, and Larp Log is designed for college students.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account and for the mailbox you choose to connect.
  • Connect only a mailbox you own or are authorized to access. Connecting someone else’s mailbox is a material breach of these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-export, or systematically harvest data from Larp Log;
  • attempt to bypass community access controls, rate limits, or privacy thresholds;
  • attempt to re-identify individual candidates from aggregate statistics;
  • submit false application data, or otherwise attempt to distort community statistics;
  • create accounts programmatically or operate multiple accounts to gain broader access;
  • probe, scan, or test the security of the service without written permission; or
  • use Larp Log to harass, discriminate against, or disadvantage any candidate or employee.

4. Community data and access

Access to community movement is granted per internship, based on applications we verified through your connected inbox. Manually added applications are tracked in your personal log but do not unlock community data. Applying to one role at an employer does not unlock other roles at that employer.

We may change how access is granted in future — including introducing paid tiers that widen access — with notice.

5. Accuracy and limitations

Larp Log makes no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. Specifically:

  • Larp Log only observes candidates who use Larp Log. Coverage of any employer’s pipeline is partial.
  • Automated email classification makes mistakes. Events may be missed, mislabelled, or duplicated.
  • Employers change their processes, timelines, and round names mid-cycle.
  • Listing open/closed status can become stale. Always confirm on the employer’s own careers page.
  • Community movement is descriptive of other applicants. It does not predict your outcome, and the absence of movement does not mean you were rejected.

6. No employment or outcome guarantee

Larp Log does not offer employment, does not influence any hiring decision, and does not guarantee any interview, assessment, or offer. Nothing in the product is career, legal, or financial advice.

7. No employer affiliation

Larp Log is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any employer, applicant tracking system, or assessment vendor named in the product. Company and product names are used nominatively — solely to identify the real opportunities and recruiting processes you are tracking. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Your content and contributions

You keep ownership of your data. By enabling contribution, you grant us a licence to include de-identified, aggregated statistics derived from your verified applications in the community features. That licence covers the aggregate form only — never your identity, address, or individual timeline.

Withdrawing consent or deleting your account removes your contributions and triggers recomputation of the affected statistics.

9. Intellectual property

The Larp Log software, design, and compiled catalog are ours. You may not copy, resell, or create a competing dataset from them. Listing text originates with employers and remains theirs.

10. Third-party services

Larp Log integrates Google and Microsoft mail APIs and Logo.dev for company logos. Your use of connected accounts is also governed by those providers’ terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Larp Log and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, attempt to poison community data, or abuse the service — including immediately where the conduct threatens other users’ privacy.

12. Disclaimers

Larp Log is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, offers, or employment, arising from your use of Larp Log.

14. Changes

We will update the effective date when these terms change and will give notice of material changes. Continuing to use Larp Log after a change means you accept it.
